Laphroaig's Select Cask is a uniquely crafted whisky which embodies the distillery's traditional styles of whisky making. What sets this single malt expression apart from the rest is that it is left to mature in new American Oak casks, which isn't commonly used for Scotch whisky maturation. After being aged in Quarter Cask, PX Cask and Triple Wood (European Oak casks) and a final addition of 10 Year Old, the award-winning Select Cask has a unique blend of peatiness, oak and sweetness.
