Muscat

Muscat is a sweet, dark wine with a high alcohol content produced from Muscat grapes.

The wine is popularly made in Australian wine regions, particularly Glenrowan and Rutherglen. Vines in Rutherglen date back to the 1850’s. The hot and dry weather delivered to some of the oldest Rutherglen vineyards allows for the perfect sugar accumulation to occur.

Muscat wine is best enjoyed with caramel or chocolate desserts.
