Whisky Overview:
Arberlour 16 year old Single Malt Whisky is a premium selection of whisky over the years. This premium single malt expression is matured in a double cask, a method used traditionally by whisky makers over the years. From this, the whisky gets its refined taste, laden with notes of rich, dry scented floral and sweet raisin aromas, which are warm and hearty to the palate. But its the end notes of spicy nuttiness, coupled with finishing touches of plum and elegant oak, which makes this whisky such a pleasurable and excellent liquer.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Golden amber.
Aroma: Rich with a sweet raisin scent & spicy nuttiness .
Palate: Rich toffee with more raisin notes & a slight spicy edge. It is exceptionally well balanced & most certainly very drinkable.
Finish: It just continues & keeps going with the wonderful toffee & raisin spiciness.
Alcohol Percentage: 40%.

The Aberlour's 16 year Old Single Malt Whisky is an excellent combination of depth of flavour and complexity that comes from being matured for 16 years in a combination of first fill oak Bourbon casks & the finest Sherry butts. Using traditional whisky making techniques, this expression’s warm fruity notes are enriched by an engagingly spicy sweetness. This is a highly commended liqeur which has won a double gold medal at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
