E.H Taylor Small Batch is a testament to one of the pioneers of the bourbon industry - Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. In the 18th Century, Edmund Haynes Taylor would purchase the distillery that is now known as the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
Today, Buffalo Trace makes some of the world's most popular spirits and many of Edmund Haynes Taylor’s methods in distilling are still used in production.
He was responsible for developing climate controlled warehouses to age bourbon barrels. Buffalo Trace still use warehouses that were built by Edmund Haynes Taylor way back in 1881.
