Warenghem Distillery purposely drill deeper than 100 meters underground so they can locate the cleanest, purest water that has been filtered by the rocks of Breton coastline over many years.
For the Armorik Double Maturation, the distillery developed exclusive Brittany oak casks for which the whiskey matures in. Once the first stage of maturation has taken place they are changed to Oloroso sherry casks for a second maturation.
Your nose will detect soft citrus and apple notes with a subtle caramel aroma. The double maturation allows for a full-bodied, woody taste as the whisky hits your palate. As you finish the drink you can expect to unearth rich honey notes.
