Nikka From The Barrel is a blend of different types of malts and grains from the Nikka collection. The blend is kept in used casks for three to six months so the blends can merge together and the different alcohol contents can harmonise.

In 2015, The Nikka Whisky Distilling company was awarded the prestigious title of Distiller of the Year at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC). At the same awards, Nikka from the Barrel collected the trophy for Best International Blend. This was the highest award that is presented at the ISC.
